Effective 25 October 2026 · Production version 0.2.3 (ad-free)

Your game stays on your device. This release has no ads.

This policy covers the LifeQuest Android game from WorkinVirtual Private Limited. Contact support@workinvirtual.com. This page describes the ad-free 0.2.3 production build. Check Google Play for availability; this information page is not a game download or proof of approval.

At a glance

No LifeQuest account is required. Core missions work offline. Game saves stay in Android app storage. The production 0.2.3 game includes no advertising or analytics SDK and does not request internet or advertising-ID permission. Exported backups are not encrypted by LifeQuest.

1. Local game records

LifeQuest saves your chosen character name and appearance, fictional mission decisions, progress, credits, daily challenges, home upgrades and arrangement, savings target, career ranks, character relationships, story branches, fictional business stock, prices and orders, achievements and settings locally on your device. These are game records, not real employment, banking or customer records. Use a nickname rather than sensitive personal information.

There is no developer-operated gameplay server, required login, cloud game synchronisation or separate analytics SDK in this build. LifeQuest does not upload your character name or saved game records to a WorkinVirtual gameplay server.

2. Advertising: production versus development

Production version 0.2.3 has no advertisements, ad rewards, purchases, Google advertising SDK, UMP SDK or separate analytics SDK. It makes no developer-operated gameplay or advertising network requests. All 500 missions work without advertisements or consent forms. The following Google disclosure applies only to separately identified internal advertising test builds, not the ad-free production binary. Those internal builds include Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.5.0 and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and use Google test ads.

Google's software can collect and share IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device/account identifiers such as Android advertising ID and app set ID, app/ad interactions, diagnostics and performance information for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and security. Processing depends on SDK settings, region and privacy choices. Google handles this information under its own policies. LifeQuest does not request precise location.

Read Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps and Google's Android SDK data disclosure.

3. Advertising choices

The ad-free 0.2.3 production release does not request advertising consent because it does not contain or contact advertising services. Settings explains that this release has no advertisements. In the separate internal advertising test builds, UMP presents applicable regional choices; Settings → Advertising privacy choices reopens the form when required. Refusing consent never locks core missions.

Production advertising remains disabled. A future advertising-enabled update would require verified regional consent, legitimate serving eligibility, updated Google Play disclosures and owner approval before release. Published European and US messages alone do not certify production advertising.

4. Backups and sharing

Settings lets you export or import a LifeQuest JSON backup through Android's document picker. Export is your choice; the destination app or storage provider handles its copy under its own policy. Backups include your chosen name and game history and are not encrypted by LifeQuest. Use a private destination and do not post them publicly. Import replaces the current journey after validation and confirmation.

Android automatic backup of game files is disabled. Export a backup before clearing storage or changing devices. There is no LifeQuest cloud recovery.

5. Retention and deletion

Game records remain on your device until you replace the journey, clear app storage or uninstall. Settings → Start a new journey asks for confirmation and replaces both app-managed save copies and preferences with a fresh journey. This does not delete exported backups, support messages or information held by Google. Manage those copies with their recipients or providers. No LifeQuest account-deletion process is needed because no account exists.

6. Security and permissions

Game files use Android app-private storage. Protect your phone with a screen lock and current security updates; no storage method is perfectly secure. The production 0.2.3 game requests no internet, network-state or advertising identifier permissions. Opening the policy website or sending optional email launches an external browser or email app, which has its own policies. Separate internal advertising test builds use internet/network-state and Google advertising permissions. It does not request contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, precise location or broad file access. Google's SDK disclosure describes encrypted network transport, not encryption of exported JSON files.

7. Optional support and privacy requests

If you email support, WorkinVirtual and its email provider receive your address, message and any attachments you choose. These are used to answer the enquiry and investigate reported problems. Correspondence may be retained to handle your request and maintain records needed for security or legal obligations; it is separate from your game save.

Email support@workinvirtual.com to request information about, correction of or deletion of support information, or raise a privacy concern. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Include only enough detail to identify your correspondence. We cannot remotely access or delete local saves; use the controls above. Do not send passwords, advertising IDs, payment details, identity documents or a full backup in an initial email.

8. Adult audience

LifeQuest is intended for adults aged 18 and older, not directed to children. Fictional credits cannot be bought, cashed out or transferred as real assets. Game scenarios are entertainment, not personalised employment, legal, medical or financial advice.

9. These information pages

These pages are hosted on app.workinvirtual.com. The hosting service may process standard request information such as IP address, browser, requested page and time to deliver and secure the website. These pages contain no LifeQuest login, payment form, ad placements or additional analytics scripts. External services have their own privacy policies.

10. Changes

Data-handling changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date and, where applicable, in Google Play disclosures. Check again when installing a later build.
