Version 1.4.0: WIV: Calculator & Converter
The existing Android package remains com.workinvirtual.decisionengine. This is an update to the same app, not a second public app. The descriptive name WIV: Calculator & Converter and this release were verified on the public Google Play listing.
- Expands the native collection from 27 to 40 tools, including daily-reference currency conversion, equations, world-time conversion and ten additional study/everyday tools.
- Adds scientific calculator modes, mixed-number fractions and day/week/month/year date changes.
- Bundles seven language or script options with supported-device-language selection and English fallback.
- Adds optional speech recognition with a review-and-accept step; typing remains available.
- Aligns 18 currency choices between Settings and conversion, with an optional foreground daily reference check, visible dates and offline cache.
- Adds a tool/service request form and per-tool improvement link using user-reviewed email drafts and email replies; no phone-number field.
- Adds an explicitly optional rewarded-ad banner pause without locking any tool.
- Corrects dialog Back handling so closing a prompt does not navigate the underlying tool.
What has been checked?
Local automated tests and physical-phone checks cover the new form, encoded requests, cancellation, large fonts, seven-language Settings, currency refresh and synthetic voice confirmation. One real Android Gmail request and its reply were received during an authorised test. These checks are not an independent audit of every device, human translation or recognizer language.
Core-tool guides
The existing 27 educational guides remain available with their formulas and worked examples. They are not browser calculators and do not represent a full set of 40 guides.
