WIV: Calculator & Converter privacy policy
This policy is provided by WorkinVirtual Private Limited for Android package com.workinvirtual.decisionengine, previously named WorkinVirtual Tools. It is separate from the WorkinVirtual jobs portal and other apps. This policy describes version 1.4.0, available on Google Play, and the optional sharing feature prepared for version 1.4.1. The sharing description does not mean that version 1.4.1 is approved or available to every device. Older installed versions may not contain all of these optional features.
Calculations and local data
Native calculations run on your device. Our calculation code does not send your typed amounts, answers, history or favourites to our servers, AI services or ad SDKs. No calculation account or cloud-sync login is required. Preferences, favourites, explicitly saved results and cached currency references are held locally. Legacy Decision/browser records remain separate.
Local records are not end-to-end encrypted by this app. Android device security, automatic backups, device transfer and the settings of a destination you choose can affect access and retention.
Optional currency-reference requests
Manual Refresh contacts api.frankfurter.dev over HTTPS with the selected currency pair, not your amount or calculation history. Automatic daily updates are disabled until you enable them. They check during converter use when opened or a pair changes, at most once per local day after a successful check for that pair. The provider necessarily receives the network request and IP address under its own policies. No background refresh is scheduled while the app is closed.
The reference rate, its date and the last-checked time are cached for offline reuse. A failure keeps an available saved reference rather than inventing a rate. These are daily reference rates, not live bank quotes or guaranteed exchange prices. Reference-provider information.
Optional voice input
After the first-use disclosure, a field's microphone opens your phone's speech-recognition service with the selected language. That provider receives the spoken audio and may process it online under its own policy. Availability, supported languages and offline models depend on the provider and device. This app does not record or store audio, and does not require you to use speech.
The recognised text is shown for review before a valid number can be applied. An accepted number becomes a normal calculation input; it can appear in History or a backup if you explicitly save/export it. Cancelling keeps the prior field value. Your provider may retain information independently of this app.
Feedback requests and email replies
The optional request form prepares a draft addressed to bstn001@gmail.com in your email app. It includes the request type, your title and description, the related tool if opened there, and the selected app language. Calculation values, history and files are not automatically attached. There is no phone-number field and no phone-number permission is requested for feedback.
Nothing is sent until you choose Send in the email app. We then receive the message, your sending address, and any information or signature you or your email provider include. Replies arrive by email, not an in-app chat. If no email app is available, copying the request is an explicit action; it does not send it.
This app does not store request drafts in its own preferences or database. Android may temporarily retain screen state and the email app may retain drafts or sent messages under its settings. We use correspondence to respond to requests, investigate issues, protect service security and meet applicable obligations. We retain it only as needed for those purposes and obligations. Avoid passwords, banking details, identity documents and other sensitive information. Advertising, optional rewards and consent
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). A separated, labelled banner area can appear on content screens. In version 1.4.0, you may explicitly choose a rewarded ad; successful completion pauses banners for 30 minutes on this device. A local completion timestamp tracks that period. This is not money, a paid subscription or a cash reward. All calculation tools remain free if you decline, cancel, are offline or an ad is unavailable. The network determines the available ad format.
Google's SDKs may process advertising or other device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app/ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. We do not attach calculation inputs to ad requests. Non-personalised or limited ads can still involve data processing. Availability and personalisation depend on applicable consent, region, network and inventory.

Optional app sharing and local banner pause (version 1.4.1)
Share app opens Android's sharing menu with a public Google Play link and an invitation in your selected app language. It does not automatically include calculation inputs, history, favourites, contacts or files, and it does not send a message itself. The destination you select handles any subsequent message under its own policies.
Choosing a sharing app adds one banner-free day on this device, with at most 100 days of remaining sharing credit. Separate selections can add more time up to that cap. Opening or cancelling the menu earns nothing. Selection does not prove that a message was sent, delivered, read, or that anybody installed the app; we do not track those events. A local expiry timestamp records the banner pause. A short-lived one-use callback token validates the menu selection; the selected recipient or sharing app is not retained as a referral record. No new account, contact access or Android permission is required. The existing optional rewarded-ad pause remains 30 minutes; all tools remain free.
Copying, files and operating-system backups
Copy actions write only when requested. Export uses Android's Save picker and import reads a file you choose. Exports may include saved calculation inputs, results and favourites and are not encrypted by this app. Your selected storage provider or email app has its own data practices. We do not automatically upload calculation exports. Android backups and device transfer can separately copy local data according to your device and account settings.
Retention, deletion and security
Use Clear history to remove native saved calculations and manage favourites in the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove local records; keep a needed export first. Manage exported files, email copies, operating-system backups and legacy browser records separately. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete calculations never sent to us. HTTPS is used for our currency requests; third-party services and local storage remain subject to their own protections.
Website access, children and scope
These public information pages may generate ordinary hosting logs, including IP address, requested URL and request time, for security and reliability. External links are governed by their providers. This general-purpose app is not designed or marketed specifically for children and does not provide personalised financial, legal, medical or electrical-safety advice.
